The life of the working artist can be a very solitary enterprise, confined to a lonely studio. The Art Engine was conceived to fill this void with useful information and networking opportunities for the visual artist. The Art Engine is a resource for us, the artists. From workshops, seminars, educational tours and recommendations for materials, we hope that you will take every advantage of what you find here.

If you are a visual artist or a collector and would like to contribute, please use the form on the subscribe page. Your input is highly appreciated. We are looking for content that other artists would find of interest. Got a blog? Submit your ideas and share your comments, tips and articles here, we would love to include them and link your site or blog.

Thanks,

The Art Engine guys.

Who is behind The Art Engine? It was started by artist Julie Snyder who was always searching for activities that would provide her with painting opportunities and a chance to meet other artists in her area.

Limited by the duties of being a parent, wife and business partner she could not attend many of the events she encountered. She started her own workshops and paint-outs that fitted her schedule. The Art Engine seems a natural way to inform the network of artists and promote events that benefit us all.

The Art Engine also collaborates with other professionals. We are pleased to have Margaret Danielak on board. Owner of DanielakArt, Art Sales & Consulting Services. Danielak is the author of the highly-rated handbook for fine artists, Gallery without Walls. She also lectures and teaches art marketing workshops for artists throughout Southern California
